His Beatles books document members of the group's direct musical contributions to other artist's recordings. Engelhardt is considered the leading authority on this subject of The Beatles' career.
He has appeared on numerous radio and TV shows, including CNN's Showbiz Today, Fox News, and PAX's Treasures in Your Home. He is the author of Beatles Undercover and From Grand Funk to Grace: The Authorized Biography of Mark Farner. He lives in Bay City, Michigan.
