Researcher Dr. Nick Begich discussed the accelerated pattern of climate and geophysical changes affecting the Earth. Climate change is an extremely critical issue he believes. But rather than argue about its cause, Begich said we should deal with its impact, by moving our "agricultural footprint," for instance.

His home state of Alaska has become more temperate and may offer agricultural opportunities, he said (a 68 lb. cantaloupe was recently grown there), noting that summer now lasts two weeks longer there.

The melting of the permafrost in the Arctic regions, causes a heat release in the ocean, which in turn has a relation to an increase in storms and earthquakes, he detailed. He also cited studies which show a "vector of heat" around big cities which increasingly affects localized weather, with the rise of urbanization. Begich also addressed Project HAARP, weather modification, the magnetic pole reversal, tsunamis and chemtrails.
